PMC Project Nickel 20260323 is a Farming Simulator 22 (FS22) 14.3km x 14.3km fictional american terrain.

In short this terrain is the next evolution of PMC Project Orange 20240609 Development, all the lessons learned from other PMC Terrains FS22.

Mainly I wanted to have GOOD farm yards, meaning flat ground on the farm yard area and the area being large enough to fit several large vehicle sheds, grain bins and animal barns/sheds. Also I wanted to have proper sized fields with round corners with good fit/alignment with roads unlike project orange which is all over the place with huge empty spaces between fields.

This terrain is planned of being the next public release after its fully working and in-game. It needs a proper name, current "project nickel 20260323" is just a working title, if you have any suggestions for a name please let me know.

Terrain design, meaning railroad tracks (dark gray line on the center), roads and farm yards are still up for review and I could easily make changes. If you have any suggestions or can spot "non working locations" on the above mapview image, please let me know.

My plan is to post progress updates into this topic as development continues, at the time of writing this the terrain is in-game, not fully working yet but it can already be used to review the design.

Yesterday fixed GDM image resolution and farmlands.XML bugs, created bale selling station aka animal dealer, then tested current terrain version on editing computer with low video settings, contracts for silage baling worked OK.

Had to split one 16 hectare size grass contract field to 8 tiny fields so Start From Zero savegames are possible and enjoyable.

Then did another in-game test for silage bale contract work, it went fine, animal dealer works OK. Now all the basic functionality for Start From Zero savegame are there (well no regular selling points yet etc).

Making some slow but steady progress, while doing real life chores and keeping an eye on world news.
