Nose art

Post by Snake Man »

In our AH1 gunships, UH1 Huey's and OH6 Loach's we got the option to set specific nose art for each helo in a mission. This is done with these following commands:

Code: Select all

this setObjectTexture [0,"\VTE_air\icon\VTE_artaircav.paa"]
or
this setObjectTexture [0,"\VTE_air\icon\VTE_artgunship.paa"]
or
this setObjectTexture [0,"\VTE_air\icon\VTE_artswords.paa"]
Here is the current nose art image's available.

Anybody want to research for historical nose art pictures and send them to me so I can add them into next release?

vhpamuseum.org has tons of nice photos of nose arts.

For example

No need to add a bundle.
If I remember right, we can create our own and use the setobjecttexture command.

Go and have a little tinker.

Set up a mission with a trigger that activates after x amount of time and see if it works. Might have to mess with the syntax.
