Does anyone know how to properly create ShadowVolume LODs?
Also there is usually ShadowVolume 0.000 and ShadowVolume 10.000 in the BIS models, how are they different? If I have no ShadowVolume, does it mean my model wont create shadow at all?

The shadow volume needs to be closed, but it doesn't have to be convex. Just do the find structure > topology > find non-closed to find trouble spots and then close them and delete 2 faced or double sided polygons. You can have as many pieces in the shadow volume as you want but they all have to be closed. You don't need the components## stuff and the textures don't seem to have any effect. I'm not sure if it's possible to have transparent parts. I think you also need flat shaded normals.
So multiple pieces of closed geometry, flat shaded, no textures should do it. Take a look at other models for examples of what else might need to be done. Also search the BIS forums for a few posts on the subject, try finding the early LAW addon thread.
