Object and Terrain

Post by Rogerman »

Hi..guys...
First of all, my problem is the changing of one lane airbase to two lane.

During whole last week, I read a lot of document about terrain and airbase object and tried to it, but I'm still confusing. Because, it is hard to find the points what I have to do in several docs.

Please let me know what kind of steps I have to follow for the changing.

I know the question like this is not good,
but, I thougt this way is better than my several unsteped questions in a future.

Again..please help me...
I really hope to solve this.

Thanks guys.. :D

P.S. I'm working at SP3 and I have all kinds of utillity for.

Start tacedit, click on the airbase and select the one that has number 2 behind the name, like 02_20 2 or perhaps 05_26 2 etc.

Thanks...
But, I already tried it at first time.
When I changed just sub_type of airbase to another one and saved it, new airbase type didn't appear at falcon briefing map(appeared as same as old one) and Recon. Also, when I stared the Tacedit again and load the saved tac file, the old airbase type was showed up in sub-type section.
So, I think I need more help...
What's wrong in my way?

Well are you sure that the recon/briefing was from the same file you edited?

Instant.cam == Instant Action
Te_new.tac == Tactical Engagement
save0.cam == middle campaign
save1.cam == bottom campaign
save2.cam == top campaign

Heh sorry I cannot remember the campaign names :)

Wow! I got it..I found my fault...that is saving te_new.tac and korea.wch, not default.wch..!
Thank you much, snake man!!
But...
I still have problem...
First one is..there is no airbase name in falcon map although I typed it...
Second one is..terrain tiles are not fixed with new airbase...
If you have another great solution..
please tell me about it :D
I mean..good document or direction for it...
Thanks again ;)

What does it say then?

Use CATE to level the airbase background tiles.

Now...do I have to add the data for all kinds of airbase?
or..what do I have to do more?

Um...not easy.. :?
