How much horsepower does Bredal fertilizer and lime spreader require in Farming Simulator 22 (FS22)? These are my collected info and experiences working with Bredal K165 spreaders.

How much horsepower bredal k165 fully loaded requires from a tractor? 250HP is enough. -source Giants forum post.

"If you are farming flat fields with no slope, the K105 will run fine behind a 150hp tractor. If you're farming hilly ground, the K105 needs 300hp~ to operate at full speed. It all depends on terrain." -source Giants forum post.

Fendt 939 vario with twin wheels does slip when pulling full bredal k165 which is 18.9k liters. -source Start From Zero PMC Super Six 6km (cheat) 2022-09-24. Please note that this doesn't mean 939 wont have enough horsepower, just that it slips.

Massey ferguson MF 8S.245 with narrow tires and according to vehicleexplorer had 236 horsepower, when pulling full bredal k165 with extension so 18.9k liters it pulled it fine but on corners and tight turns you could feel that uh oh I am almost like on slippery ice here as the tractor tried to push / steer on the side. Tractor with narrow tires and 236hp would not be my first choice for fully laden k165 (but it can be done if youre tight on money, heck I have fendt favorit 515c with 145hp pulling k105). -source Start From Zero PMC Super Six 6km (cheat) 2022-09-26.

Massey ferguson 8s.245 is slightly underpowered for fully laden k165 with extensions, it constatly is struggling with steering

Fendt 724 vario with default wheels and agco 650kg front weight is still not heavy / powerful enough to fully control bredal k165 with extensions, the tractor will take sudden steering movements on fields with high speeds, it does pull it nicely regarding horsepower no real issue there, but autodrive network waypoints recording is difficult at times when tractor can do sudden steering changes as the bredal mass is forcing its will on the tractor. I am thinking that fendt 724 vario should be medium size tractor enough to be stable so maybe a twin wheels (with weights? maybe heavier front weight too) might solve the issue. Fendt 724 vario struggles with uphill pulls, even on a road. Next step up is fendt 939 vario then. Kubota M8-201 with twin narrow wheels + bredal k165 with extensions drives on field only 39km/h. -source Start From Zero PMC Korkscrew 40km 2023-01-13.

Did in cab driving with brand new Kubota M8-201, was nice. Not sure if I'm just imagening stuff but those twin narrow wheels make this tractor more stable to pull heavy bredal k165 with extensions than fendt 724 vario with default wheels. -source Start From Zero PMC Korkscrew 40km 2023-01-14.

For this F24 contract I used our own bredal k165 again as it had 16k liters of product left. McCormick tractor 183hp with narrow tires and without front weight was very flimsy when pulling this big spreader, not recommended. -source Start From Zero PMC Super Six 6km (cheat) 2022-09-26.

Tested big bredal k165 with extension now on fendt favorit 515c and yeah, this tractor is way underpowered for this beast of a spreader. A huge difference between k105 and this bigger one. -source Start From Zero PMC Super Six 6km (cheat) 2022-09-26.

Also confirmation for Start From Zero vehicles, new holland t6.175 which has 175hp pulls bredal k165 with extensions just OK at 6k liters. -source Start From Zero PMC Cereal Region 32km 2023-01-05.

Fendt 942 vario with wide weighted wheels and 1.1k kg front weight is extremely nice combination to pull fully laden bredal k165 with extensions, no issue with horsepower and steering because heavy trailer would "steer the tractor".
