New Roads
Hi,
Has anyone been able to get the new road decals to work in GE? I'm doing a map not based on a real world location, so no real road data to use, so just wanting to eyeball it in GE as I go. I'm useless at Blender so was hoping to lay them down manually, but not had any success as yet

Re: New Roads
Hello and welcome to the forum.
What I've seen in-game and in Giants Editor v10 itself, roads are now automatically aligned to the ground. Other than that I got very little info, few people that mentioned roads so far anywhere have been very vague about them, like "click road, then shapes tab, choose decal, its easy", heh well yeah if its that easy why don't you spend few minutes explaining it step by step
My plan is to learn how to do roads in GE v10 and write tutorial page about it into Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) Terrain Editing Tutorials page, but as for today right now, don't have such knowledge yet.
Even the begin with the road itself, is it still 3d mesh object or only flat plane with texture applied, I think folks call them decals. In riverbend springs (mapUS) they look like just flat planes with texture applied, there are no 3d mesh parts on it to give it shape like back in previous farmsim games.
If you come across this info please let me know, lets get it documented so everyone can enjoy making roads.
