Theaters in RV issue

I've tried to use the theaters i have (Vietnam,ODS,Taiwan) in my red viper install, but it crashes everytime I want to recon a specific area.

Is this because of hitiles?

Well try it without hitiles then. I can't be sure but I don't think there is any recon CTD bug as it would have been mentioned for sure by this time.

Try it without any other mods and let us know how it turns out?
