Vegetation modeling
Vegetation modeling for ArmA
This topic is dedicated for tips how to model and texture vegetation such as bushes and trees.
I don't have much knowledge yet, but the basic concept should be that wrist thick branches of bushes/trees should be modeled normally and anything smaller should be done with alpha channel transparent textures.
The alpha channel transparent textures should not be too small, as what I've heard, many of them in a scene topping each other, causes slow downs.
More information when I learn. If you have any info or tips, please post.
