Chaff & Flares

Hey guys,
yesterday during a test flight on the red site I noticed that I can't drop chaff or flares within Mig 21/23/25. I checked the countermeasures console in the pit but there all settings were correct. For my opinion I didn't change anything that can effect the ability to drop chaff & flares or not.
Can somebody give me a hint how to fix that?

This is not theater related, I mean I did not remove chaff/flares on any planes in the historical Desert Storm database.

Mhh that means I have to life with that? I searched the unit settings in F4browse to find a entry for chaff and flares but I can't find anything.

Where can I set the quantity of chaffs for example?

you should check Zips folder> Simdata.zip> acdata file. look for chaff /flare in the code.

hmm... maybe the ac you mentioned have no chaff/flare. they're old russian ac without modernization.

They should have countermeasures, I tried to open acdata but can't read anything with windows editor or notepad. I searched the forum and find a few topics about the simdata folder. But I read that the file must be decrypted before you can edit anything in AF.

Because IRL no one of MiG-21 version had dispensers... From MiG-23s only the MLD variant had dispensers. The availability on MiG-25 is uncertain. During the ODS Iraqi MiG-25s (PD or PDSz version?) had but I have no intel about Russian MiG-25s except in DCS you can see decoys.
