This is new software to me, its a terrain generator which uses all sorts of "advanced" stuff to create the terrain in steps. For example first you create the random terrain area (if I understood correctly), then heightfield, then water map, then attributes map (which I don't know what that means heh), then terrain normals map (dunno where to use in game development), then light map and finally texture map.
I have yet to use this terrain generator to actually make something for the game engines I use, so I can't give any more precise comments of its use. I have the strange feeling that in all that long list of terrain making steps, only thing usable for us game developers is the creation of the heightmap... but can't be sure as I don't have any experience with this.
