Vehicle damage textures
I have now completed the vehicle damage textures to pretty much all of our vehicles. When they blow up, they get nice grey charred up texture and many vehicles have bunch of small surface objects missing. Basically I haven't removed the rotors on helicopters (and few prop planes), but for tanks I removed the mounted machine guns and for aircraft's all ordnance will disappear under the wings.
Now I'm wondering...
Should helicopters lose all of their rotors when destroyed?
Should tanks lose not just the track "treads" but some of the "wheels" also?
How about some random objects missing, like jet plane would lose flaps / ailerons from its right wing etc?
Should jets lose the landing gear, at least the rubber wheel but how about the "strud" also?
Any suggestions and ideas for hiding those specific parts of the model at moment of explosion is welcome.
