Hi,

I just read this article on armaholic, the HAC released their great Huey with US weapons and 3 vietnam era skins, I thought they could be interresting.

yeah, already talked to them and they didn't like the idea of letting VTE using it, ofcourse nothing prevents you to download their stuff and vte and make missions that use it..

Sadly we don't have a kickass Huey and it would mean so much, Unsung will release soon I hope they got really nice stuff.

Sad to hear it but after 3 years on multiplayer gaming i'm used to this. Modders should help each other in the purpose of the overall satisfaction of every player including them.

Yeah I can't wait to see VTE's next release and Unsung mod too !

as an addon maker I don't feel too bad about that idea :p

Seriously, I would love ArmA to give up the same theme as in... OFP, Resistance, ArmA and go for a Vietnam setting.. could be kickass if well done.

I will hopefuuly have some news regarding this Topic soon
I am a member of the HWM mod team and discussions are taking place.
But for starters there are rules that they have posted up on the HWM Mod website outlining clearly the do's and 'dont's to there properties that will have to be met with,but other than that all i can say is that discussions have resumed.

I will post an update once i have heard more.

I tried those Hueys out with VTE US Army Rifle squads and man they look very awesome!!! I even made my own "personal mission" that has 12 Hueys"Death Before Dishonor Hueys" with 9 soldiers in each and man they all flew into combat in a line formation. No stutter whatsoever.

Well it is up to them. I mean they made those cool Hueys. For the meantime I enjoy them as is, with VTE personal use of course.

Okay guys lets not beat the dead horse, if we ask permissions to use someones work and they say NO, thats the end of it.

HWM has made their decision and I'll respect that.
