Noob question

Post by McHighlander »

OK!
I'm trying to learn, so I must ask when I can't understand!

I've downloaded some DEM datas...
Now I must gnerate the terrain with Dem2Terrain...

1st little question: in the tutorial I read that you suggest to create only .mea, description and .tdf files. That's ok, but later the tutorial tells you to modify the .map file that I've not. and soon or later you should have also the csv that I didn't make.

any suggestion?

If I make the .map I'll need the PAL file, but I didn't understand well how to create it.

Suggestion?

You can use default korean .map file and go right ahead and generate the objects.csv if you wish.

The easiest way I've found to generate a .PAL file is from Paint Shop Pro. It has an option in the menu to save the palette of any image you are working on.
