Hehe man, there is people on the server everyday almost every hour, its amazing. Most likely if there is nobody there and you join, someone sees that and joins also (happened few times for me, luck or not, dunno). For me now, the playing is when ever I'm up and feel like it, I have no need to check time(zones) when I want a mission, this is especially true if there is some persistent mission running, its so cool to join there while the mission is maybe half way through and been running for 500 minutes 
I'm truly amazed that this server/mod has taken off so great, this is way beyond "Hey lets get together seventeen weeks from now monday evening at 8PM!?" heh.
