Ok, here's a tool that's not specific to F4 (or OFP) but comes in VERY handy when trying to match installs or see what files are missing:

Functionality: Will generate a list of files, in txt, html or csv format from a directory you specify

For instance, you think you're missing a single tile, you can create a text file of the folders contents, and send it to someone else to check against their contents.

I coded in c# a similar tool that will also compare 2 subdirs. If anyone is interested I can provide it. It isn't particularly sexy, though.

Also, for searching for text strings, I recommend something called Agent Ransack. It sounds ominous, but really isn't.
