f4 browser 2.6 (bug??)
I got f4 browser 2.6 from this site. I want to allow the f-16 to carry aim-7 on lets say HP (2-8). I did it with an older version.
But with the new version, each time I modify the hard point settings, the weapons count for all weapon on that HP drop to zero!!
Is it a bug??

Can you give be a step by step idea of what buttons and stuff you click?

1- open f4 broser
2- select the falcon4.fed file
3- click on hard points icon (on the left tree)
4- get in detail view and sort by name

2.6 should work with all versions - but I've sort of only tested it with SP2/3 type environments. I just tried it with a sort of 108 based system, and the same steps you did seemed to work ok.

hmm.. want a tool to compile new Sqadron patches for theaters.
the patch pics are compressed in one file, hope each theater can have their own file to swap with( or attach to current file? I prefer seperate files).
the UI, better look similar to SkinEditor2.(maybe add it in TacEdit tool?)
sounds like an easy case?

There is already a perl tool to split up an idx/rsc file into a set of TGA files, which can then be recompiled into a new resource.
Its the same technique used for the new UI's and stuff.

As I posted before new version works great!
there is only 2 things :
1- what is the difference between the unit and the vehicle category??
2- Codec, great work again, you just forgot to update the version number in the about box
(not technicly a bug but since you only release supreme quality software just taught you would appreciate knowing about it!)

I meant in the tree view.
But I think I figured it out:
- vehicles are individual vehicles
- units are groups (of vehicle) like a f-16 squadron or a sa-7 squad.

Yes - correct. Units are what you add to TE's. They are made up of vehicles.
