Question for SEAD strike missions.

Hello guys again. I have this question for those who know what should be done in Falcon 4 missions to be successful. When flying a SEAD strike mission and I am asked to attack a SAM site am I supposed to destroy the missiles as well or just the radar system? I'm asking because I think that I must destroy the missiles as well, so I load some MK-20s in order to do so. But this means that I sacrifice the fuel for that. I'm not sure that is necessary for the mission to be successful so I'm asking you guys. Do I have to destroy the missiles as well or will the mission be successful just by destroying the radar systems??
Any advice would be useful.
