Falcon run problem

Post by Hawk55 »

I have falcon running (played for 3 years) on another machine running windows ME. On this machine, windows ME, 1GHZ Athalon, 200meg RAM, GForce2 video card. I did a complete install (one on a virgin hard drive) and the game loads but when I hit fly or commit it locks up in the second square. Running SP3 patch. Have a wingman extreme digital joystick. everything works on another computer that is just slower (600 mhz). HELP

Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed for all major components, including gameport... :)

Yep I've downloaded any and all updates that I can find. Got the updates for the video card, mother board, flashed the bios with it's updates etc. Still can't get it to go past square two.

How many megabytes in size is your terrdata\Korea\terrain directory?

And to make sure, you cannot get Instant Action, TE or Campaign to run in 3d?
