Graphics Settings??

I have F4 SP1a, Win XP pro, P3 733, Gforce 2 GTS 64MB vid. 23.11 drivers 512MB pc 133 RAM.
can you guys mabye tell me some of your Graphics card driver settings and Falcon 4 game 3D settings. I run the game in 1024 x 768. I love the graphics in game most of the time but when I fly low over cities the way they are drawn doesn't look good? (not smooth) I am almost considering getting a PCI 3DFX card to run the game in Glide since it looks smoother. I noticed the same thing when I ran Win98SE as well. So please recommend your best settings for gforce drivers and Game settings.

your system should be ok. tune down object denisty, details, texture, and bubble.

Bubbles=3
Object Density=6
these values are mandatory in order to get the best AI results

other sliders can be altered at wish
object detail and terrain slider are recommended to turn down
a notch on your system.. although you Graphic card is great, Falcon eats alot from the cpu wich is in your case 'only' 733 mhz.

I advise you to take out those 23.11 drivers, Falcon 4 looks bad with those, I know, i tested it!

what's your advise for drivers on nVdia based cards. I have a GF3ti200 and with the 23,11 F4 looks terrible. So instead of trying lots of drivers I opted for my trusty V5, so I put that back in. It's fine, but IL2 is screaming for my GF3 to get back soon.

I've installed 21.83 again. As you have a gf3 i advise you to test this ones. Report later on results please.

Thanks for the info guys! But it seems that Glide just looks smoother to me? I'm no novice on the Pc I have my system all tweaked out. The only tyhing that I don't like is in Campaigne when I take off from runway and start Climbing I don't like the way it draws in the City about midscreen. It seems like there is way to wavy or fuzy hard to explaine, It's just not smooth. Thats my only bitch. The rest of the game looks Great!

i use the 23.11s and F4 looks great. off course im using XP det. and a GF2 Ti.
