Kneemap?

Got a question.
I recall that I read somewhere that in SP3 the size of the kneemap can be scaled and can be any size. Can anyone confirm this?
If true are there a set W x H values or a maximum? Will everything then still be in the right place in flight?

yup
yup it scales up from within the code
so it can be any size til CTD due to lack of vidcard memorry..

mind however
that kneempas are loaded form campaign/save dir
so that they are loaded per theater instead of per cpt

Aeyes, I have some devcent maps that could be used for kneemaps. (As I make them for SP)

They are the black and white kneemaps that are installed with the cockpits.

Currently, I have a Korea kneemap (installed in SP3),and a variation with Tcn range depicted.


A large sized Balkan kneemap that will come along the Balkan theater (here resized to 512)


An icelandic (very hi res)kneemap:


Then I started working on the ODS large kneemap. That one will be 4096 resolution (resized here)


Next one is Europe and eventually Nevada.

If you need to have some images, let me know.

if you read this, let me know when you need the kneemap for Balkan and which resolution would suit you best? Might as well get in touch for the final stations.dat file.

If it is I can start telling if those airbase as Jeddah and Taif are on the map

The ideal would be to display the dots as a new layer in PSD format.

How do you get the airfields to show on the mpa. I ave tried a lot of differnet methods but have failed.
