Nevada graphics problem

Doing a bit of dogfighting over Nellis AFB, chasing and firing some rounds at a MiG-23 I noticed something weird.
Every time he crossed my horizon the aircraft disappeared for a short moment. The radar lock and even the smoke trail were okay.

Any suggestions?

I don't know what the problem is but I have faced the same thing several times in the past. If it does not create any problems do not think about it. Press Ctrl+8 until you find the enemy that you said has disappeared which should be back again. Don't worry, I think it does not create any other problems.
