ODS Air refuelling what changed?

Hello All,

First I would like to say... ODS is GREAT.

But, I have noticed that if you want to hookup with a tanker you will get some problems.
With the Korean SP3 theater is was perfectly fixed to do Air refuelling, but trying to get hooked up in ODS is suddely very difficult. The tanker in front you will jump left and right in front of you palne and your own plane won't turn so normally to the left and right anymore.
I heard something about the wish to have wake turbulance behind a tanker... But this already starts below a tanker. The area where you connect with the boom and below should be without any wake turbulance or jetblast.

I did two air refuels lately with combat autopilot. He did have no problems, it was pretty slow approaching the tanker but still no problems.

So in korea it works OK, but in ODS the tanker jumps around?

Hello Snakeman,

Yes It does jump around some.
Try to join without the A/P.
