Yeah the RF101 Voodoo would be cool

this is were I get my callsign from

Lee Clayton ones wrote a song about it called "Old number nine"

in wich he called the aircraft The Widowmaker

He uses phrases like"
Mach 2 made her kinda strange
She swapped twice in a second
She once held the world speed record
She'd turn around and give you a litle change
a Three Milion Dorrar jet eagle
and more.....

This song made me interested in military aicraft and simulation 12 years ago.
I bought an Amiga and Bob Dinnermans F/A 18
in 19990, wich played around the San Fransisco area
Here I am Tiling San Fran myself and playing Falcon4.

By the way great work ccc is this kinda work a lot of work, and did learn this in you're spare time or are you a profesional 3D artist
(looks quit difficult to make)

Widowmaker aka Metalhead

Re: F4E in Nam?
I've seen material reporting that the vulcan-sporting 'E' model entered the theatre in '68. The C&D model had what I think was an infrared sensor under the nose where the vulcan is on the E. I have some photo's if you want to see them...

I'd like that. I've been pretty busy though, it took me 5 days to reply to the last post. Can you put up with that?

I haven't attempted any f4 skins yet, but I'd like to. Just point me at the right folders. Are there any toolkits required aside from photoshop or paintshop pro?

First, you must get F4skineditor2. and some related ini files.
you can easily find this at

www.f4community.com

(seems Snake Man didnt upload it here)

second, extract the a/c skins you want to repaint. ya, photoshop or paintshop pro all do great job.
Hamm, keep in mind that, colores in Falcon4 skins are limited by indexed colors. you got to use the default palette. so it wont look as shiny as those in Jane's USAF.
For you experienced hand, it should be very easy, just set the mode to RGB for painting, then copy the whole new skin, paste it on default one, PSP will pick the adequate colors from indexed colors.
