Air Defense only

Hi. I installede th Vietnam campaign and the only ground objects are ir defense sites and nothing else. I'm curious if this is a problem with my campaign settings or is it meant to be this way.

I'm just a few hours into day 2 (I believe) and there has been only 1 infantry unit on the entire map screen and it left moments after it was shown. Next I think I'll advance the time some and check if there is any progress then check back in... hoping I get a response hehe.
