Snake Man,
Having prob with credits. While procidx.pl DOES output the txtfiles, its erroring:
:\F4TerrainView>perl procidx.pl credits.idx

I'm using winperl, thats my first suspect. Also cred2res.pl produces files that are 1/3 to 1/6 of the original size. But procidx can extract the text ok again.
In the game , no text is displayed in credits window.
Any ideas?

Re: Scrolling Credits
No ideas, havent seen that error before. If you dont mind, you can email me the .txt credits files and then I'll create the .idx .rsc files for you. But if you're looking just to get that working, then I cant help as I never seen that error. It works nicely on my linux machine and thats all I have worked with.quote:Originally posted by crossup:

If you want me to create the files for you, zip the texts up and send to nospam

Re: Scrolling Credits
Ok, the obvious conclusion is its the OS causing the prob. Despite my lack of expertise in Pearl I have been able modify Julian's scripts to work with Winblows when necessary.
SO my first choice is to try to figure out the prob. Since Im not ready for an Final release credits are not terribly important, so no need to have you do them. However I will take you up on your offer in the event I run out of options. Please confirm if possible that this is one of Julian's works.... if so I may ask him for some direction to look in.
Thanks for your replies,
