Alpha Simulations has announced their new add-on for CFS 1 & 2 and FS2000 has just gone beta. A tribute to the BAe/McDonnell Harrier V-STOL attack aircraft and provisionally titled 'Jump Jet', it features 17 Harriers from the prototype right through to the latest hi-tech Gr.7 and AV-8B+. Two-seater trainer variants are also included. In all, there are 21 aircraft on the CD. For some, the highlight of this package will be the Falklands War scenario. Accurate and detailed Falklands elevated-mesh style terrain with several airfields, custom texturing and static scenery, including a detailed Carrier Group offshore and many different vessels in the anchorage, together with 20 historically accurate missions. 3 Argentine aircraft are also included. The Harrier flight model allows for near-vertical take-offs and landings and a low speed hover. The aircraft themselves all feature 3D rotating nozzles and advanced texturing. Jump Jet will be released in December by publishers Just Flight. Check out the details and many screenshots at : ALPHA SIMULATIONS.

>great news for MSFS and CFS fans.
but, can MSFS/CFS engine could provide better sense of modern war than F4 engine?
besides they simulate " near-hovering", not real hovering in harrier FMs, much like what we can do in f4.
well, im really drooling at their 3d models
