That map image is somewhat wrong, the roads and rivers arent excatly like in the (.THR) terrain file. But indeed the unit makes a nice turn left there.

No thats on 64 segment map. The larger campaign wont schedule flights, dunno if my save0.cam is broken or it just wont work until some fix.

Hehe.. ground unit.. have you looked at the .thr file in campaign tool if you have access to it ?
If so, then you know why the planning of the route is so distracted. Of course the ground unit movement does work - in each new theater - but it is not planned correctly because of a false .thr file.
Fred already solved this problem and is in making a new tool that creates a correct .thr file from the actual tiling, not the terrain feature data files.
