Terrain resource links

Due the recently created CATE auto tiling util and 512x512 tile resolution discovery, we are now in serious need of good texture sets for Falcon 4 terrains.

Problem is we have very small number of real life photo references for terrain types of different countries or just different terrain generally, ie images of ground.

If you guys have any resources to share on like pictures on the web or personal photos (maybe some nice vacation shots) where we could see land cover, please post links here or email them to nospam address.

Countries we are interested are Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi and Iran the middle east region, Afghanistan, Vietnam and central europe. Also any other theater you feel that needs new textures and you happen to have images for that region, send it in we can sure use it.

With your help, we can create good looking terrains for falcon - for you guys to fly (and crash into)

I have tried messing around with some 3rd party tiles from a guy callen Lennart Arvidsson. Hi has made new tiles for FS2000 in all seasons and climets. I tested them once in Falcon. The result was very good.
The tiles is 256x256x256 bmp's.

Just a tip if your tierd of Falcons tiles.

Would being able to produce a theater full of unigue tiles in a day help? Depicted is default terrain, photos down to 1m res can also be used where available. Tiles are both 128 and 256 pixel 8bit
