I really need some help figuring out how to get my patches (efalcon, etc..) to work. if there is anyone out there who would be willing to help an admittingly computer illiterate gamer try to improve my F4 gameplay I would be sincerely grateful. If you don't have the time maybe just suggest a resource from which I can obtain this info. Please reply to : buckreel@hotmail.com or on this page if possible. if this request is totally inappropraite for this page please tell me and i will look elsewhere. thank all you for your time.

Re: F4 patches
First off, I am really a novice at this as you are. However, here is my recommendation:
1. Save whatever work you have done to another file.
2. Delete the microprose files/folder.
3. Once deleted, restart the computer.
4. Reloadart the Falcon CD from fresh.
5. Once loaded, restart the computer.
6. Apply the F41.08us.exe patch.
7. Restart the computer.
8. Apply the 108plus.exe patch.
9. Restart the computer.
10. Apply your RP5 or E1.01 patches.
That should square you away.
