I am still having problem with map size. Is there any way to increase the land area you can use in the map. I am not getting enough area in the map. I put in the coordinates for Texas and Mexico and the DEM converter only has the 10x10 sqaure. Heres the map pic.

Gordo,

first, the link wont work.

Second, if 10x10 dem Map cant cover your theater, then you need 20x20 dem map, which is 128x128 seg. We're not sure if Campaign could work in this scale. If insist on larger one, wait Snake Man's reply. he's on vacation.

ok, I fixed the link. The ~ messed it up, sorry. Thanks CCC.
I used the DEM L2 prog to add the eoo. datat to the L2 map and then I loaded it into the Terrainview and ran it. I don't see where any of the cities or rivers etc, were loaded. When I auto tiled the map, it said texture files 0 found to replace.
The tutorial at the beginning of the site needs to be updated as the utilities have been updated. Is someone going to update the map making tutorial anytime soon to jive with the new utilities. If so, I am just put this off till then, instead of asking questions at each step of the way and driving you crazy, or being ignored. Thanks,
Gordo

Why not a flowcart too. Seems there are different ways to go , depending on distance from pole/equator

Well if you wanna go with the the tutorial
you should use perls scripts only

Dem2LF is a whole differnt Ballgame

I also have problems with it
it doesn't load the e00 files as it should
only one at a time and up till now it hasn't created a *.TDF file for me
(Might be my own mistakes)

I'll just have to wait with Iceland till
Miran brings out second version

Bigger maps can only be done with perl scripts at this time.
Miram promissed to look into that in the future

Yes I'll promise to update the tutorial soon but in the mean time, if you need some specific help, just ask away?
