Re: Texture.bin
wich tetxture.bin are you trying to convert..
do you want to convert the Korea texture.bin in to textfile format
or they otherway around
I dont have experience yet with Pathmaker as I write the texture.bin manually till all tiles are finnished...then I am going to specifie terraintype and roads/rivers/coast
Please specify excactly what you want
either I can explain it to you or else send the files an I convert them for ya

Re: Texture.bin
Its the file TEXTURE.BIN as found in the terrdata\korea\texture directory. I'm trying to convert it to text so I can add the new textures from T-Bone to it. This way I can check them out ingame.
To date I have simply renamed them and added to the texture.zip, but obviously this is no good in the long term.

Re: Texture.bin
Yes, I downloaded a package called zipslack, a linux OS. After installing/setting it up, I reboot to start the session in DOS mode (Win95 release C). Once the Linux is started, I type "PERL".
The I type "tbin2txt.pl texture.bin >texture.txt". I leave the PC for 10 mins, come back, and the display hasn't changed at all, so I restart the system and from within Windows I find the file "texture.txt", but it has a filelength of zero K, and sure enough is empty... at this point I shout, swear, kick, punch, and generally abuse the PC, but that doesn't help either...
Bemused as ever...

Re: Texture.bin
Aha...! Dudi has just sent me a new .exe for Pathmaker, and it works! I now have the new tiles added to the .bin file! Thamks Dudi, that's another favor I owe you! Thanks Widowmaker for the help! I love this PC of mine, better stop kicking it for now...!
