Wow, beautiful!
BTW Tbone, i got a stupid question, from many real desert photos, i note the colors vary from pale-pinkish to dark brown. dunno if you use right colors for ME desert, or color shades will change according to sunlight?

Ok sure. I've tiled few really large dunes which go for several segments worth and then some smaller ones.

Hi CCC,

We had run into this problem before with the sand being to yellowish. I tried making it more whitish but the game itself still makes it yellowish no matter what. Perhaps there is a way to change it now, but its too late now to change anything since we are so far in the tile making process. I don't think it looks too bad... besides we aren't shooting for 100% real life. For that you can use low resolution satellite shots like the crap USAF Janes game released last year had Image

A cool thing though to make the terrain more whitish is altering the TOD.lst to make the sand look lighter. I am playing around with these variables right now and I can say that at least on the Korea terrain it has made it possible to get much brighter. Also during sunsets, etc its easy to make the terrain look very gorgeous by adding a pink haze as you mentioned.
