Problem with O.pbo textures

Post by Waterman »

How do I get the Nogovan textures to show?

I select the the "O" folder where the textures are, which is the edited O.pbo minus the 1st 46bytes.  Then I click "Textures" and its all red.  I go to View -> Texture Browser... then where the small thumbnail is suppose to be, it says "Not found".

What am I doing wrong? ???

O.pbo are you just saying that or do you have directory + file(s) like this

Oo.pbo

Or something else? If you have placed o.pbo into a dir and try to browser WrpTool into the dir, you get nothing. You need to Unpbo the o.pbo with a pbo decrytor like Amalfis so the p3d's and paa/pac textures are unpacked. Check your WrpTool_manual.pdf for further details of how to install.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like an install issue here. It looks like Waterman you're saying that you wet WRPtool to look at x:somedirO, when you should have set it for x:somedir.

Thanks.

I did un-pbo my O.pbo

I've set it as: C:...DesktopOFPWrpTool.v0.906.ReleaseO
What should it be? ???

Normally I would put all my depbo'd folders in a seperate data folder, but that's up to you. Anyway, WRPtool should be configured to look at

C:...DesktopOFPWrpTool.v0.906.Release

to pull the O data. Note that you will have the other WRPtool folders listed in the browsers, so I would actually recommend moving the files to something like this:

C:...DesktopOFPWrpTool.v0.906.Releasedata[o]

and pointing wrptool to pull from

C:...DesktopOFPWrpTool.v0.906.Releasedata.

OK, I made a folder called "Data1" which contains 2 subfolders called "Data" and "O".

In settings I've choosen for the texture path to be:
C:...DesktopOFPWrpTool.v0.906.ReleaseData1O

Remember the O subfolder contains folders within itself to with objects folders... ie. Skal, Hous, Road, Tree etc...
I still dont get you properly. What do you mean by "pull from"? ???

You dont point into the actual object/texture dir, but the ROOT directory folder where the addon dirs are located.

by
C:...DesktopOFPWrpTool.v0.906.ReleaseData1
