No, especially now that BIS fixed the "map-view lag" issue from... well map-view and mission editor.

512x512 cells island is 25.6km x 25.6km in size.

Nogova as all the BIS islands are 256x256 cells which is 12.8km x 12.8km in size.

Depends on what you want to do. If you just want to manually paint a island terrain with Wilbur, then you do not need any other utils than Wilbur + WrpTool.

Btw, -much- larger islands are responding much better in map view. Now we just need an AWACS or fully functional Hawkeye, or Aussie Wedgetail with ~12-35km radar range. It was a pain flying BARCAP on my 102km AEC. True, I had a whole squadron of Hudson's F/A-18's, but with vis up at 5000 I still had a hard time finding stuff. I need to recode the cpp for the F14 and go for phoenixes.
