Crop Rotation mod for Farming Simulator 22 (FS22). FS22 doesn't have a seasons mod same as FS19 Seasons mod, the default FS22 "seasons" is dumbed down for conzole peasants garbage, all it does is nice cosmetics for trees changing colors, nothing else. FS22 Crop Rotation mod by Bodzio528 is one step to the right direction of getting somewhat FS19 Seasons mod-alike feeling in FS22.
These are my local notes about FS22 Crop Rotation mod, these were not written directly to forum topic in mind, so if something looks off now you know why.

There are a lot of documentation info in github link. Please note that giants modhub release got removed, its not available anymore in 2025-10-09.
In-game additional field info shows "Previous Harvest" line as TEXT1 | TEXT2 format, which means text1 was current / previous field crop type (or fallow), text2 is the last years data. So its this years -> last years.
Crop Rotation
Numbers mean percentage, like 0.95 means 95% bonus, 1.15 means 115% bonus. Best bonus for "crop rotation PERFECT" is 115%, you cannot get higher than that.

Fallow
To trigger fallow one must: harvest the yield, and do not perform sowing until full year has passed. For example: if harvest was in August 2022, then next agricultural year starts in March 2023. Do not sow until March 2024 to achieve fallow bonus. -source github intro page.

While playing on PMC Korkscrew 40km Start From Zero savegame, FS22 Crop Rotation did the same random insert of fallow for no reason, as in my other savegame (was it PMC King Corn 45km?), so decided to remove FS22 Crop Rotation mod until its been confirmed fixed.
v2.5.0.1 Testing

Checked and saw that FS22 Crop Rotation v2.5.0.1 has been released with some fixes, unfortunately these fixes seem to be multiplayer related, but Bodzio528 posted that he re-wrote all the code related to some stuff, so I'm kind of hoping it as a by-product would have fixed the "random insert of fallow" issue I saw on 2023-02-08 when I "the end" labeled my experience with this mod.

Large Terrain Fix
I opened github issue about large terrains not working with FS22 Crop Rotation mod because it uses small GRLE image sizes to track the crop data, bodzio528 was kind enough to fix this by increasing the GRLE image size to 4096 x 4096 pixel resolution.

I have now been playing with that FS22 Crop Rotation mod zip version for probably well over THOUSAND hours and it works fine in 14.3km and 20.4km terrains, its been a long time since I played on 32.7km or larger terrains but my recollection from that time was that it was working OK, would have to double check the savegame files though, but for 20.4km size terrains this is good to go, works fine.
