16km terrain possible in fs25

As I’m sure you’ve seen, well if you’ve been active at all… everyone alright? Nobody’s posted on this side in a little while… anyways. I’ve discovered a 16km terrain is possible to load into the game and play, this is useing the maps4FS system (neat!!!) I’ve made a 16km test map and it loaded in the game fine, just not GE, (well not yet, it’s been 30+ minutes and it’s still loading) I recently upgraded to 128GB of DDR5 6400MT ram and that seemed to change everything. I will subsequently be attempting a 32km terrain generation and test soon. But I just wanted to post my findings.

What is "maps4FS"?

Over 30min loading time and requires 128gb RAM, yeah sounds about right, the same stuff we learned last year.

I’d suggest searching YouTube videos on it as I can’t explain it well, but it’s a software that generates irl terrain data and makes it into a loadable GE template kinda… idk, it really helps with map making though, it’s pretty cool.
