Porting a map I did in FS22 to FS25

Post by Surfin Cowboy Gaming »

I'm trying to bring a map I made in FS22 to FS25. The map is a 4 km map, and I am using the 4x Blank map from FSG Modding as a starting point. I've made the dem 2049x2049, and i'm thinking instead of bringing ground textures over from 22, just using base game textures from all the base game 25 maps. I am having an issue though finding the Layers manager window in GE 10. I've looked in all the places I can think of, but haven't been able to find it. If I do decide to bring one or 2 ground textures over, is there anything I have to do with the textures themselves, or will textures from 22 work in 25? Right now this is just a test for me to get used to the new editor before moving on to my 8km terrain of Hawaii Island. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Click terrain and then RMB -> layer manager.

I don't know, never really played around with ground detail textures before, I mean importing new ones.

Thank you so much for that. Never thought to right click on terrain. I'll try bringing the 2 textures over, and let you know how it goes.
