farming-simulator.org for Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) the new farming game just announced few days ago, not much content yet as I have seen very little info from the provided screenshots and video footage.

Pages created now are FS25 playing guide and FS25 game.xml settings.

My plan is to create farming-simulator.org pages for FS25 just to same as FS22, I could create some template pages already in preparation but I rather not, once there is something concrete to show/use then new pages will be added.

If you find some new info, screenshots, videos, forum posts etc, please let me know so it can be added to the website.

Really looking forward for the new FS25 game engine, will be so exciting to start learning what has changed and what it takes to port old FS17/FS19/FS22 terrains to it or just to create brand new ones.

Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) website update.

Created placeholder web pages for FS25 Mods Terrain and FS25 Terrain Editing Tutorial.

This is in preparation for nov 12th 2024 release as there wont be any free time to edit web pages then. Its not optimal to upload placeholder pages, but cant think of other way to get around this, once FS25 is available I sure as hell wont be creating/editing NEW web pages as its playing, learning, documenting and having fun 17hrs/day. Now there are placeholder pages standing by, all I need to do is to write notes, then copy-paste them to the existing web pages and done, back to farming

Created placeholder page for FS25 review, just wanted to get this page done, sitemap.xml linked and checked to be error free before FS25 game release day, I don't have time to spend on such editing after nov 12th 2024.

Now I was thinking of creating placeholder pages for AutoDrive and Courseplay, however even though I truly hope those will be released for the next farmsim game engine, it would be extremely optimistic to write placeholder pages for them already as we do not know how FS25 changes things for example the giants in-game GPS feature, yeah GPS is not autodrive or courseplay of course not, but I don't want to spend my time right now creating speculative pages, would feel pretty dumb on post FS25 release if one of those mods didn't get created or that there would be nothing to write about for FS25.

Anyways, I just want to be prepared; proper preparation prevents poor performance.

One more Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) update for today, been a busy day once again. New stuff includes FS25 AI Hired Workers which is like a mini-courseplay (not really but read the page to find out), FS25 Steering Assistant which mimics FS19/FS22 GPS mod and FS25 Ground Deformation as well.

New FS25 Game-play Preview 2024-10-22 page is up where I go over many of those videos released yesterday, I wrote commentary its like a thinking out loud live when watching the videos, yes its weird. But I wrote a lot of thoughts in there, its not the normal system I've used with FS25 news but its kind of okay-ish, dunno if I do it again though, so check it out.

Updated Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) Mods page with all the same sub category pages as FS22 currently has. Pages are obviously placeholders as FS25 has not been released yet, there are clear placeholder description text included. I did this because I have no time to edit HTML pages at FS25 release day and the few days/weeks after.

Man my copy-paste finger is aching bad again, ouch!

But feeling great to have done another big step towards FS25, the preparations continue, have to get everything ready that on nov 12th all I have to do is to farm, learn, document and update existing HTML pages quickly before going back farming

Well, dunno how this changes my Start From Zero type game-play universe when now you get spoiled by in-game features for these previous mod features. Although why would it change anything, the mods have always been present, just because they are now built-in in-game features changes nothing, hmm yeah indeed. But at least for New Farmer game-mode savegames and farming stories this change is huge in the sense that now from day 1, at the first few minutes of game-play us players don't have to suffer from manual driving, although that has always been the core fun in the very first beginning of any savegame.

As the review says I'm planning on updating it if there are any changes in Giants Engine v10, however I would be extremely surprised if giants fix their engine.

Another day, another update for Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) farmsim game web pages, this time I'll focus on contracting, howto make some money in the farm.

Basically there is not much to say, FS25 is a clone of FS22 to sum it up, only small changes in FS25 contracts are the baling and bale wrapping, no more deliveries to be made. Check out the new updated FS25 Contracts page I just released.

Continuing work to edit Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) web pages to bring them up to date.

Added new content to Terrain Mods FS25 page, it now lists hand-wavey style roughly all released terrains, it does not include "my riverbend springs edit" type terrain clones.

Man let me tell ya... FS25 truly sucks. Giants even changed how farmland PDA map view works, you cant see the outlines at all now, so the FS19 and FS22 era farmland PDA map image screenshotting is over, there is no point of screenshotting as its identical view to the regular PDA map page/tab. Then the regular PDA map view is blocked by the money balance info as apparently according to giants it is must have on PDA map view page, this is just ridiculous.

You know by each day, new bug, new issue and new stupidity we discover in FS25, I feel less and less bad about being disappointed with the release, now I've accepted the fact and shifted my attitude to just laugh while observing this dumpster fire that is FS25.

Never say never, but I would cautiously say that there is just about snowball chance in hell that giants software could EVER fix this garbage (in FS25 life time), this thing has passed the Point Of No Return now, there is no coming back from this horror, its game over man, game fucking over.

Tell me I'm wrong, tell me I'm making these facts up, tell me unitsPerPixel is not broken, tell me 8.1km terrains wont use over 20gb of RAM, tell me ground deformation is working in multiplayer, tell me ground textures are not randomly blurry for most people, tell me grass/straw swaths are not hard as rock, tell me animal sheep barn doesn't give out errors in the log... tell me oh tell me, I challenge you, I dare you I double dare you mofo, dude... tell me I'm wrong and I happily stand corrected ...

Sorry, but sometimes stupid shit people do is just getting overwhelming

BTW when was the "FS28" release date again, I need to mark that to my calendar as it might be the only hope now. Juuust joking!

Joking aside, what I meant to say before that turning into furious rant is that guess I'm done screenshotting user made community terrain PDA map images as there is no point really, the best overview for terrain map is 3d world minimap (9 key) brought up to bigger size, screenshot that and crop it in GIMP. But dunno, feels so stupid, I might just start to list terrain mods without any screenshots at all, dunno. As I said, this just sucks, man
