Where did you get those trees and how did you get the jungle landscape to look like that? I am really curious of the screenshot of the Spec Ops guy with the M-79. Thank you

OK I have VTEv4 and I love the terrain and the tree immersion. Now which mission has the Army CH-34?

As the topic says, these are ArmA screenshots. But in VTE v0.4 you'll find the CH34 mission pretty much at the bottom of the single player mission list.

Okay sure (you see the email at my profile). We are getting way offtopic here so if you want to discuss this VTE v0.4 mission further, please open a new topic in the VTE for OFP area, thanks.

I can take pictures for you if you need them, I run on high graphic's for ArmA. Infact I already have my own little collection of VTE ArmA Shot's! and lightly edited a few. I think There Awesome! And with the high blood effects I got some hit shots with blood spurting out too. Plus it makes the fighting pic's more dramatic like this guy kneeling down and making a last stand next to his dead friend, who was face down with his chest opened up like the moon! Then I got an impact shot of him when he died in mid air next to his friend(And i got the VC who killed him in the pic too! Not only did I catch the bullet impact but I got the AK Barrel with a flash too, It's awesome!) and I added those 2 pic's together(Forming 1 pic) for example.
![Image](http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/1470/vtetestwz0tg0.png)
(Lol these are not near my best images, I dont shoot with these crappy Scenes/Angle's. I just took these weeks ago becuase I was bored and didnt expect to use them for anything. Also these aren't the best of that crappy batch I have alot more that are way better and alot are unedited.)
On that note I know an awesome movie maker, He has made some of the best films in ArmA, including the BlackHawk Down official video! Well i dont think we should be spamming PR before we can compete with the new stuff lol. He should have contacted you by E-mail by now listing his specialty. I'd keep him in reserve for the full release PR campaign video maker! (His name is Stepko by the way.

I dont remember ToW ever being asked for import permission of the CH34 to ArmA...
Dont suppose you've ever heard of "intelectual property"?
The CH34 Choctaw model and textures are the intelectual property of Erik_Red, who is no longer involved with OFP or ArmA, and as such,
the rights of the Choctaw belong to Tales of War mod. And even if ToW has been disbanded, there are no problems finding still active old members of it.

granQ asked permissions for this helicopter back in June 2007 I believe (or before).

As far as i am concerned anyone who has contributed to VTE OFP should be proud to say their work was/is Quality enough to be worthwhile the massive undertaking of poerting it /them to VTE ARMA (samething but younger and fresher
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
).
I am NOT a VTE member but a VTE Appreciater(heavey critiziser at times
![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)
) and have personally contributed to the "VTE Cause" as many of us did in the past .
I dont want to seem arguementative cos i am an "musical artist" and i fully appreciate the "intellectual property" concept.
Its nice to know there are people from a long time ago "keeping an eye on things".
Join the server sometime or keep an eye out for ANZAC SAS SERVER for my bro and i prefer to play with "old school" players who are more used to more disciplined playing(non JIP makes for a more serious player
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
).
Couldnt help but to "throw my Two Bobs Worth In"

Fact: I dont know.
Assumption: Eric Red as he listed him as credits.
I tried to /msg him on IRC about this issue but hes been away, so I cant get answer for now. Hopefully he'll be back soon and directly replies here.
In the nutshell, I'm pretty sure he contacted Eric Red, asked permissions and got them. granQ did not add any items into early VTE without permissions, he was quite anal about it in fact

In the current (ArmA) version there is the MIG-17 and MIG-19, I have no idea if these are the same as in the footmunch releases, but they are footmunch planes yes.

I started that mission, it was the PMC NAM Command #1 I believe, switched to huey and took off flying. I flew from the Plei Me base into the Chu Pong Massiv hills and there I was shot down by enemy AA. No crashes on that 5+ minutes flight.
I played one of my other 4WVR (same as VTE) terrain for more than 20 minutes with same settings, no crashes.
However I'm not making any statements whether the high terrain detail fixes the crashes or not, we'll just have to do some more testing to be absolutely sure. Everyone is free to try, this can be fully tested on 06-23-08 VTE release.
