I don't and will never be agree with that. Don't ask why...Replacing old ones is easier, but adding new slots need more knowledge and experience.
only very few guys good at this part of modding.so i suggest let capable hand do the job. no hurry.

Unfortunatly I am not as good as I would like but I know (or knew is more appropriate) things around falcon tools but I have no time now. I am no longer active in Falcon world neither fly nor dev, just looking sometimes at forums. But I think, things should be better than they are... so I just can tell you, good luck for the falcon's future.

Re:
no. you can search the web and find a tool- mdl2dxf, try use it to convert the mdl into DXF, then convert DXF to 3ds(with 3ds max), then 3ds to lod-or direct to DXM. if the first tool fail, then no way to do it.derStef wrote:btw can you also convert MS FS2001/2004 models to .DXM?????
btw i've no interest in hi-poly work. no joy for me.

Currently I don't have time making skins.
+ How can I do if they are not in game DB?

Re: Test 3d toys in sim - warning -pics.
DOF testing.. wierd, can not get all turrets turning at right direction..only 76mm gun and its targetting radar do it right.
As all gun/missile rail uses the same DOF0/1, all their turning angle will be the same.. i double the angle amplifer on phalanx > then it heading toward a wrong direction ( double bearing angle and elevation angle! ).
< Edit > i've fixed and formulated the turret DOF settings. it's ok now - since current code limits one ship to attack one single target, ALL DOFed radar, gun turrets, and SAM rails will try to aim at the one single target if within their ROM.

You both with WaveyDave are the elite in Falcon 3D modelling for me.
Yeah ccc, hundreds of your models are needed in some theaters, you know that.
some let's make them ready, Qawa will make some pits, and we all make then a wonderful Theater with all that stunning stuff!
CHEEERS

If we seriously have qawa's ear here...
If we're gonna pimp a new cockpit, I'd love to see the A-1 get the first look for a prop plane. I'm pretty sure I saw a model ccc did for this bad boy a while ago.
It would be very very useful for the Vietnam theater.
We have like 25 new F-4B,C,D, and J skins and models coming up in FF5, and no theaters in which to fly them.
Sorry, hijack off.
