Check out the new VTE Installation Help page. It should guide everyone through the installation process.

If there is anything I left out or wrote in the way its difficult to understand, please let me know and I'll upgrade the page.

Small question: what OFP version do i need for VTE?????

i have the OFP game of the year edition. is that ok? do i need some other patches or so on?

You need the latest, v1.96 - if your shop bought version is not that, you can easily upgrade with the patch from BIS homepage.
