Changing Airbases

Post by marvin157th »

Hey guys,

Just curious how hard is it to change airbases placed in theaters. Can you do this with TAC EDIT, is there a simple way to do it, or do you need to do the whole song and dance?

Thanks

Yes use tacedit, click on airbase icon and then from the Type Info box select SubType for the airbase.

SnakeMan,

Ok so this will basically change for the TE or campaign that is edited correct?

save0.cam, save1.cam and save2.cam are the campaigns and te_new.tac is tactical engagement.

Snakeman,

Ok I got you.. Now I tried changing the airbase for fun in a saved TE.. However, once I exit it restart TACEDIT, the base is still the old one? Am I missing something, right now I am just saving the TE in TACEDIT.
