Question about tacedit

As you know FF3 DB, RV DB, OF DB are also differents. When using tacedit in FF3, RV or OF campaigns, I've got the same unit lists. In red viper I can only add common units to those versions.

I remembered last year with FF3 and using an older version of Tacedit, I could add FF3 units (listing very different)

Now I installed F4TI a FF3/FF31 hybrid and got the same listing. What file contains those units datas.

The unit CT numbers come from the database.

OK, so you say that unit selection in tacedit is taken from the CT numbers in DB, but RV DB is quite different from OF DB and I got the same edited units in the two case...what does that mean ? changing theater, changing from ff3 to rv or to OF doesen t change anything. Where is the problem ?

Problem also met for instance :

Tacediting with RV campaign
Adding with Tacedit a Mirage 2000-5 squadron gives in the campaign a Mirage 2000-C squadron.
Adding a Mirage 2000-C or a Mirage 2000-9 squadron gives nothing.

Tacediting with OF campaign
= no problem.

I'm not sure about your issues. At the moment I have SP4.2 directory in my hd, I've setup tacedit properties to look database from this directory. So in fact I'm using SP4.2 database for RV and F4AF editing at the moment. All works fine so I'm happy. I'm not yet at the level of adding some new fancy aircrafts, I've busy enough with the default stuff.

Problem solved. Tacedit doesn't know when you change FF,OF or RV version, you must update his properties, exit and restart.

This mean you must build an adapted campaign for each version and that can explain my problem in my last post.
