I believe SPTInstall is one of your utilities...? If so, can ask you to have a look at it to see why it doesn't build 32 x 32 terrains properly. It does the build okay, but builds it as a 64 x 64, with the terrain occupying the bottom left corner of the map.

Thanks...!

did you adjust the theater.map for these new sizes?
I am not sure but I believe Tinstall looks at this file for terrain size.
You can edit this file with pathmaker
make an entry in Theatermaker.ini first.
Yes, I did this. As I started out with a 2-byte .L2, I had to use LOD Fixer to convert it to a 4-byte one. Following is my theatermaker.ini size entries...
X Map Extent=512
Y Map Extent=512
X Sections=32
Y Sections=32
X Tiles=16
Y Tiles=16
Is there anything that must be defined especially for a 128 theater apart from maybe the above? Perhaps its a case of simply telling something somewhere I have stepped down a size from 64 x 64?
I made the change as suggested using Pathmaker, but still no joy. I think it may be failing at the "flags (future use) part. Going by the "Ultimate Theater Tutorial" I see it has no provision for small 32 x 32 theaters.
Julian wrote Tinstall. i just modified it to work with 4-byte offsets, plus added some code to adjust the elevations used for the generation of the L3, L4 and L5 data.
The flag in Theater.map must be set to "1" for 4-byte theaters.

Hi Fred,
Can I ask if you could look a little deeper at SPTInstall to see if there might be a reason for the incorrect build, and if necessary change it?
made a 32 theater
all seems fine Lx wise.
have set the terrain now
will finnish campaign and art files ASAP.
I'll probabaly start as soon as I stop show-boating on Frugals
probably some things may need to be resolved UI wise (asuming terain is fine).
other things may not or not completely work, we'll see.
got the instalation running
IA and DGFT can be used with some UI workarounds, everything is working ok here.
The campaign selector can be controled abit
and the image manipulated.
could you send me the BMP's of the terrian
for the ingame map, if I gonna make a UI setup might as well use your images right away.
