Cate help

[Red Dog]

I'm struggling with cate to supply a good image for the kneemap.

I tried both the supplied examples and one conf file from SnakeMan but it seems I have some problems related to the bmp file.

If I use straight away the conf file, Cate tells me that it's unable to open (create) the bmp file.

If I edit the path to somewhere on my harddisk (c:\ODS-cate.bmp for instance) where the bmp already exists, it tells me: Error d'execution 9
Indice en dehors de la plage

Must be something like error runtime 9
....

I'm definitely no programmer

Does the bmp needs to be at a particular place,...
Any good tutorial on how to do just that?

Can you post here your conf file, and tell me where/when exactly CATE crashes ?

Works great under win2k2y2y2. Its much faster than with win98se and Widowmaker just discovered that the 256 segment L2 cannot be processed under win98se so I had to do it to his Iceland L2 under win2k2y2.

I highly recommend it.

And if you mean by you cannot run it under win2k2y2y2, well it runs just fine for me. All I have is the exact same dir as with win98se, the .ocx file in there, nothing else.

Runs perfect.

I now run XP and it worksd fine

also zooming in on the map in tacedit works now
same w1th loading L0 in Terainview for 256 theaters.

for CATE:
however I had to add the ocx file
plus I had to download a french VB DLL file
and put that one in windows/system32 dir

Snake Man, can you send me the extra files needed, or maybe Widowmaker can ? I'll give CATE another go.

Loaded all Russian DCW data yesterday into a demoprogram , but still cannot change the e00 files into another projection and export them.
