Strange problem with AIM-9M

I have been playing Falcon SP3 for quite some time and I have recently encountered a strange problem. After choosing the AIM-9M and locking a target in ACM mode, sometimes the missile will explode immediately after the launch. This is a strange thing and I don't know if this is supposed to happen. I'm thinking that this could be because of the G-Forces on the missile cause it to explode just when it is launched. This has happened several times so far and it is quite frustrating. Could someone who knows what is going on please help me here??
