I have recently installed the 1.08i update followed by SP3 and Desert storm campaign.
The clouds look crappy also runways in the desert storm campaign look like they were drawn by a three year old.

Don't worry, someone's working on newer, hi-res runways.
The runways have always sucked in F4 (compare to say Hornet Korea or F-15), but they are being worked on!
As for clouds, yes, they suck. We know!
