No HTS with F-16CJ in Falcon 4.0.

Post by Butcher_ss »

What I have noticed when flying Falcon 4.0 is that when F-16CJs fly and they are loaded with the AGM-88 HARM missile, there is no HTS!! This is very surprising since it is very clear that the aeroplanes must have this HTS( Harm Targeting System) in order to fire the missile. I cannot understand why there are so many problems with the F-16CJ model since it is exactly the same as the F-16CG model. I have found two problems so far with the F-16CJs. The one is that the landing gear is missing, which I mentioned in the past, and the other is that the HTS is also missing, which is required for the HARM to be fired. Could someone please answer why this is the case with F-16CJs???

The CJ isn't set up in SP3. I looked into the acdata folder, and the dat for the CJ isn't correct.

FWIW, The HTS is not required to launch the HARM. While other A/C can also fire the HARM, I don't think any other than the 16 have the HTS. AFAIK, the 16 is the only A/C to exploit all the functionality of the HARM.

IIRC, HTS helps better emission localization, maximize the capability of HARM.
