Does anyone of you readers know how to create new selections for F4Patch?
I would need to add Vietnam Theater into it and dont have any knowledge of how to do so.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: F4Patch
Too bad, I've invited Joel to give us a lesson, but no reply.
my 2c, dont hurry to build first f4p-compatible theater, wait and see what Balkan team do. they got more geniuses
Im afraid swapping things could be very tricky, especially change files other than that Korea/Balkans/Vietanm folder.
I didnt hear any good solution for swapping things like:
1.theater-specific vocal/sound files
2.theater-specific pilot log
3.theater-specific TE/Cam record
4.change/add new item/wpn for some theater
5.theater-specific pie/debriefing screen
6.terrain tile sets
BTW, I note falconers hardly post on this general discussion board since Csim disolved...alright, i prefer more theater/f4 development talk, or we'll work hard to moderate something

Re: F4Patch
Sorry for the late reply. I'm spread kind of thin between all these different forums.
I suggest you contact Manfred Nelles
<mnelles> of the Balkan Terrain group. I've been working with him to add full support for that terrain into F4Patch. He should be able to help you more than I since he's knows the ins and outs of terrains, and he's pretty good with F4Patch now. Let him know I pointed you his way.
Contact me directly at Joel@Bierling.net if you have any questions.
Thanks,
-Joel

Re: F4Patch
F4Patch v4.0
When I run it, it only finds some default patches, I need to use Tools -> Change Working Directory... to point into my F4Patch directory to make it find the actual patches in the dir.
I'm not sure if this is the cause, but it first says D:\FALCON4\F4PATCH\ and when I reselect it it says
d:\falcon4\f4patch\
Any ideas how to make it see the correct F4Patch dir when I start it the first time. Its annoying to wait those patch scanning processes twice on one startup.
