btw, my humble 2c here:
1. the canopy rim, when compared with SSI Flanker and some real photos, appears in a "more flatten" curve. maybe we can mail JG73 site, see if they could comment on this.
2. that radar display..too small?
3. dont forget those two "lines" on front canopy.
4. I think the whole community is drooling for a Flanker pit for a long time, so...
1. You are right about the canopy rim, it can be tilted a bit forward.
2. The radar display is def not to small, it is more too big than too small. But i think i got it pretty right.
3. The frontlines are already added in the latest views. When i browsed JG73's site i bumped into that pic showing them. But good you reminded.
4. Flankerpit? mmm don't think so, i don't really like the Flanker.
On the other hand the Flanker pit isn't all that different from the Mig. Maybe in the far future who knows
1. compared with ef pit( hope you dont mind i compare other pits with yours, no offense), ef pit use a perspective view to draw HUD/upper control panel "larger", in a "seems closer to pilot" style. what you think about this?
2. there is a glare shield on top of russian HUD, form some pic, it looks like a boggy stuff, btw the frame of hud are boggy too, maybe add some perspective view painting, the inner side of hud frame?
Re 1. CLose up perspective is something i like since it adds to immersion. But i can't really enlarge it much more as is now. Will look into it though.
Re 2. The glare shield is on top of the HUD
But what is "boggy" ??
Re2, sorry for my extremely limited vocabulary.
i mean the aft-end of glare shield could be larger, for the whole HUD frame is tilt backward, and that shield is even closer to pilot.
aeyes aeyes aeyes....ya simply gotta make a flanker pit and some older russian pits...it would add sooooo much to falcon...maybe teach us to do it and we'll get thenm all done ..also ..did you ever fix that mfd changing problem in the mig???...we also need more clickable funtions in that 29 pit in my opinion to over come the lack of mfd buttons...but i am thrilled that your working on the miggy pit ..keep up the good work man..badger out
